Welcome to the Tutor Company page; in this article, we will be outlining the Functional Skills qualifications. If you did not achieve a GCSE Grade C/Level 4 and need an equivalent qualification for a job, course, apprenticeship, or job, you may benefit from taking a Functional Skills exam. This qualification is equivalent to a GCSE pass, and as it is Ofqual approved, many employers, universities, and organizations will accept it. We recommend the provider, Pass Functional Skills; you can sit your exam with them, as well as access their range of carefully crafted learning resources.

If you require extra support, whether it is for revision or exam preparation, we can organize one-on-one tutoring for you. At Tutor Company, we have Maths and English tutors who can help you expand your skills and knowledge. Additionally, they can help you with exam preparation and offer you guidance regarding managing your revision time. You can have as many tutoring sessions as you desire, and it may be beneficial to you, especially if you are unfamiliar with the curriculum. In 2019, the curriculum was reformed, which means that any learning materials before this year will not be as beneficial or relevant to you.

Many Functional Skills services have moved online due to the pandemic; this means that you can earn your qualification entirely from home. The exam will need to be sat under exam conditions just like an in-person examination. To ensure these conditions are met and maintained, you will be on a video call with an Ofqual-approved invigilator who will be there to assist you.

At Tutor Company, we can organize one-to-one tutoring sessions, set you up with the best revision materials, and help you prepare for the exam itself. If you need any additional support, please contact us at Tutor Company.
